Hawaii is known for its magnificent Haiku Stairs, commonly known as the Stairway to Heaven, in addition to its beautiful beaches. The government, on the other hand, has chosen to eliminate the popular attraction due to a high number of illegal trespassing and injuries at the site, which has resulted in high costs. With its breathtaking views of Kneohe Bay and lush scenery, the climb has attracted visitors and, more recently, social media influencers for decades. The Navy built the stairwells at the start of second world war to house a top-secret military radio station. The Coast Guard seized possession of the stairs after the war, allowing visitors to trek to the summit of the Koolau Mountains. More hikers were attracted by word of mouth about the amazing views from the peak.
