HOW TO STAY ENGAGED WHEN YOU hate YOUR JOB

 


I'll admit it. I'll tell you a secret that only you and I know about. Because I had a nice salary and health benefits, as well as a mortgage and other costs to pay, I stayed in a job I despised for many years. I disliked going to work in a job that didn't fit who I actually was. 

However, for the majority of you, there will be a period of time when you must remain in a work that you may despise until you can discover your dream career. I don't want to disregard you and act as if it's all in good fun. It most certainly isn't! So, while you plot your getaway strategy, here are some tips on how to stay motivated if you don't like your job.

♉ PLAN YOUR FUTURE

♉ DISCOVER THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM

What's preventing you from being happy at work? Determine the source of the issues and begin formulating viable solutions.If you don't love  what you're doing right now, the notion of continuing with it for the next 5-10 years can be terrifying. Instead, I recommend that you figure out what you actually want in the future. Consider where you want to go and what you'll need to accomplish to get there.

Everyone experiences frustrating moments at work, but one minor issue or event does not have to ruin your entire day. Before you jump to conclusions, take a step back and assess the situation.

It's a terrible feeling to wake up knowing you're wasting another beautiful day at a job you despise. You must schedule time in your day to pursue your passions. Is it considered art? Is this music? Is this playing? Determine what truly makes you happy and put it on your routine... Trust me when I say that this is the only way you'll be able to stay fine until you find your dream job.
